One of the rare breed known as a "Colorado Native," I grew up in the mountains west of Denver. A hankering for adventure led me to rich and varied experiences and locations throughout my life. The extension of my career in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities is working as a consultant, currently receiving referrals from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment to assist programs in the state to meet regulatory standards. My greatest source of pride and joy is my daughter and two grandchildren who also live in Denver.

The Windsor Gardens Writers Group is my first foray into creative writing, having previously written training manuals, program curricula, policies and procedures, and similar exciting documents. I value this opportunity to tap into my creative side.
