I am from Pennsylvania Dutch Country in Eastern PA; Graduated from Bethel High School, Bethel, PA; Took some college courses; Became an LPN; Was a private duty nurse in homes in the Philadelphia area for newborns or post surgical patients; worked in a psychiatric hospital for 3 years until an in-hospital incident caused a knee injury; Was the nurse in The Kansas City, Kansas Children's Home for two years; Have been in 46 of the US states; am self published with 5 children's books and also a book about my life. Gene and I have 5 children, and we were foster parents to seventeen children. We have been married fifty five years. I have many hobbies, but right now they take a back seat to my writing.
